LAST DAY TO ADD/DROP WATER UNITS

The County of Newell Water Project Steering Committee has set dates for the last days that landowners have the chance to cancel or add water units to their registrations. This is being done to mitigate delays and added costs once the specific areas go to the design phase and ultimately construction. The chart below shows the dates that landowners in different areas have to decide on the number of water units they desire. After the deadline for the areas listed below if someone wishes to drop their registration there will be no refunds issued and the $1,000 will be forfeited. If someone wishes to add another unit after that date they will be subject to paying the $7,000 for additional water units, plus the cost to upsize the lines or run new lines to parcel to be serviced.
