County Celebrates Another Full Year of Safety!

On May 29, County of Newell staff gathered for the annual Health & Safety Meeting, and once again, they had reason to celebrate.

For the second year in a row, the County is marking a major milestone in workplace safety. In 2024, staff celebrated being ranked first out of 79 in WCB’s Large Business Experience Rating program. In 2025, the celebration continues with 2,007 days without a Lost Time Claim, a strong testament to the County’s commitment to safety and to being an exceptional place to work.

On June 4th, the County was recognized in the Brooks Bulletin for their ongoing achievements.
