We Need Your Input on Proposed Electoral Division Boundary Adjustments (Deadline: December 2, 2020)

Council has confirmed their interest in proceeding with revising the County’s electoral division boundaries, including reducing the number of divisions from ten to seven.

The main reason for this is to redistribute the County’s population evenly across electoral divisions.  Reducing the number of divisions also reduces the size of Council to seven, aligning it more closely with the size of most rural Municipal Councils.

We are asking for feedback from County residents on the proposed divisional boundaries.  Please download the information package which contains three proposed maps and a link to the survey.

If you would like a hard copy of the information package, please contact us at 403-362-3266.
