Rural Water Refund

During February 10, 2022, Council Meeting, County Council made a motion (C-47/22) that applicants that registered for the County of Newell Water Project between the end of Phase 1 and the beginning of Phase 2 can apply for a refund of up to $6,200.00 in registration fees. 

To be eligible for the refund, you must have applied for the project after Phase 1 in your area was completed. For a list of Phase 1 end dates, please see below. 

All refund requests must be submitted by filling out the Rural Water Refund Application Form (click here to download a copy of the form) and must be accompanied by the original receipt. The completed form and receipts can be emailed to municipalservices@newellmail.ca or by dropping them off at the County of Newell Office located at 183037 Rge Rd 145.

The deadline for refund requests is Friday, September 30, 2022.
