Rural Water Refund

During February 10, 2022, Council Meeting, County Council made a motion (C-47/22) that applicants that registered for the County of Newell Water Project between the end of Phase 1 and the beginning of Phase 2 can apply for a refund of up to $6,200.00 in registration fees. 

To be eligible for the refund, you must have applied for the project after Phase 1 in your area was completed. For a list of Phase 1 end dates, please see below. 

All refund requests must be submitted by filling out the Rural Water Refund Application Form (click here to download a copy of the form) and must be accompanied by the original receipt. The completed form and receipts can be emailed to or by dropping them off at the County of Newell Office located at 183037 Rge Rd 145.

The deadline for refund requests is Friday, September 30, 2022.
