Farm & Business Succession Workshop

This one day workshop will help guide farm families, and business owners in general, through the challenges of planning for the transition of their operations to new owners.

Whether it's the legal, accounting, investment, or insurance requirements of a successful transaction, we'll cover a wide range of topics and provide you with some valuable resources to help enhance or implement your own succession plan.

The day will be facilitated by Elaine Froese - Canada's Farm Whisperer. Elaine is an award winning speaker who helps guide not just farm families, but business owners of all types. Elaine has travelled across North America and Europe teaching about the need for better communication and conflict resolution in business.

Registration is FREE for all residents of the Brooks Newell Region with limited seating available. Event costs and professional fees have generously been covered through the Small Community Opportunity Fund provided by Alberta Agriculture and Irrigation, Rural Economic Development Branch.
