Solid Waste
Municipal Services responds to customer service requests related to solid waste disposed of in roadside ditches within County jurisdiction. Solid waste found in bags will be searched by Municipal Enforcement Officers for evidence of ownership and handled accordingly. The Agricultural Services oversees the proper handling, care, and disposal of found dead wildlife, respective to road allowances within County jurisdiction.

Newell Regional Solid Waste Management Authority (NRSWMA)
The Newell Regional Solid Waste Management Authority (NRSWMA) was established through a partnership of all urban municipalities within the County of Newell, including the County itself, to develop a centralized regional landfill facility. This facility ensures the safe and environmentally responsible collection of waste for recycling or disposal. Please note that fees may apply.
