The County of Newell is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for the design, supply, and installation of a grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) system at the County of Newell Administration and Shop facility complex located within the County of Newell at 183037 Rge Rd. 145. This project aims to reduce operational costs, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and align with the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre (MCCAC) funding program requirements.

The main items of Work of this Contract include the following: 

• Demolition and replacement of Lift Station Electrical Pedestal
• Demolition and replacement of wiring and instruments in Lift Station Wet Well
• Temporary electrical equipment and service changes to maintain Lift Station Operation
• Commissioning of new electrical Pedestal and Wiring

The Site of the Work of this Contract is located in Lake Newell Resort, Alberta.
