The County of Newell is seeking three public members to serve on the Councillor Compensation Advisory Committee. This committee reviews and recommends appropriate honorariums, per diems, and other compensation items for elected officials to ensure fairness and transparency. The time commitment for this committee is approximately 7-10 hours.

Committee members must be County residents over 18 and will be selected through a random draw if more than three applications are received. Meetings are not open to the public, and recommendations will be presented to Council by September 1.
