ATTENTION Lake Newell Resort Boil Water Advisory

Please be advised that Newell Regional Services Operators have restored water service to your homes, however there is now a Boil Water Advisory in effect for Lake Newell Resort.

During the main valve replacement in Block 1 today we encountered issues that caused the water outage to last longer than originally anticipated. Due to the duration of the outage, Alberta Health Services has issued an order placing a “Boil Water Advisory” affecting the entire Hamlet of Lake Newell Resort. 

 

This is a precautionary measure, but must be treated very seriously. Over the coming days additional water samples will be taken until such time AHS can lift the Advisory.
