2026 Rural Beautification Program Nominations Are OPEN!

Each year the County of Newell offers the Rural Beautification Awards to the top three beautiful yards in the County. To be eligible to win one of these awards, nominees’ yards must be a minimum of one acre and be maintained by the nominee.

We're excited to celebrate making the County of Newell a beautiful place to live, one yard at a time in 2026.

If you or someone you know takes pride in maintaining a stunning yard that contributes to the beauty of our County, we want to recognize them. Only three finalists will be selected—don’t miss your chance to be one of them! Nominations are open until noon on July 10.

To qualify, yards must be 1 acre or larger and maintained by the owners themselves.
