Public Hearing for proposed Bylaw 2131-26 - Road Closure

The County of Newell in the Province of Alberta hereby gives notice of its intention to close the following portions of road:

W ½ 29-19-16W4M E ½ 30-19-16W4M NW & E ½ 31-19-16W4M W ½ 32-19-16W4M  

NE ½ 34-19-17W4M N & NE ½ 35-19-17W4M NE & NW ½ 36-19-17W4M  

W ½ 2-20-17W4M E ½ 3-20-17W4M

Take notice that a public hearing to consider the above-noted bylaw will be held on August 6, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. in the County of Newell Council Chambers. Any person(s) who claims to be affected prejudicially by the proposed bylaw must register their concerns, in writing, to the Chief Administrative Officer no later than 4:00 p.m. on July 30, 2026.

PUBLIC HEARING for Proposed Bylaw 2125-26

THE PURPOSE of proposed Bylaw No. 2125-26 is to redesignate the above-noted lands from A-GEN Agriculture, General District to R-RUR Residential, Rural District to allow for a residential subdivision.

A PORTION OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 36, TOWNSHIP 14, RANGE 14, WEST OF THE 4TH MERIDIAN

Anyone wishing to make a presentation regarding the proposed bylaw should contact the Chief Administrative Officer no later than 4:00 p.m. on the 18th day of May 2026. Both written and/or verbal presentations may be given at the public hearing.

THE PURPOSE of proposed Bylaw No. 2124-26 is to re-designate a portion of the NW 6-19-14W4M and a portion of the SW 6-19-14W4M from Agriculture, General District to Agriculture, Small Lot District.

A PORTION OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 6, TOWNSHIP 19, RANGE 14, WEST OF THE 4TH MERIDIAN
